RAD Graded Ballet
The heart of the school. Students work through the RAD graded syllabus at their own pace, building technique year on year, with examinations available at each grade when a student is ready.
What happens in class
- Barre, centre, allegro and set dances from the RAD graded syllabus.
- Progressive strength, flexibility and turnout work appropriate to each grade.
- Musicality and interpretation, not only accuracy of step.
- Examination preparation for students who choose to enter.
Where it leads
Students who wish to continue into vocational work move on to Intermediate Foundation and Intermediate.
